Work Wise - Company Becomes Strategic Partner
The company has been appointed as a Strategic Partner of Work Wise North East, a regional campaign which is part of Work Wise UK, a national five year, not for profit initiative, which aims to make the UK the most progressive economy in the world by encouraging smarter working practices.
The programme will encourage the widespread adoption of smarter working practices, such as flexible working, remote working and working from home; promoting a sensible work life balance.
The North East is the first region in the UK to adopt the Workwise campaign, which is to be officially launched on Thursday 8 February 2007 - with a compelling agenda to an invited audience of key influencers from the public, private and voluntary sectors.
Company managing director Peter Wignall said,
"we are delighted to have been accepted as a strategic partner with the 'big guns' of Government Office for the North East, ONE North East, North East Chamber of Commerce, EEF Northern, Onyx, RBLI, Dickinson Dees and BT. Such is a recognition that niche expertise has a contribution to make.
Travel planning and Work Wise share common ground. The travel plan process is about changing culture, and teasing out the benefits which directly effect the economic and social well-being of the organisation."

“The Workplace Travel Plan Company has created an excellent product. The builder software is an effective system to implement Travel Plans and I am thrilled with the results so far. I look forward to seeing this Travel Plan develop as Kirkleatham Business Park grows and hope to develop the relationship with the Workplace Travel Plan Company in the future.”
